City-wide line painting begins Wednesday, May 20, starting with crosswalks and intersections. Work is expected to continue through the week and be completed this weekend, weather permitting.
Street sweepers will be working ahead of the line painting crew to clean areas before paint is applied.
Drivers are asked to slow down when approaching work areas and give workers plenty of space. Where possible, please avoid active work zones and choose an alternate route.
PLEASE NOTE: Fresh paint needs time and space to set properly. Staying clear of newly painted areas helps protect the quality and integrity of the line painting work.
The City thanks residents for their patience and cooperation as this seasonal maintenance work is completed throughout Weyburn.
