The City of Weyburn is offering its residents a safe and responsible way to dispose of household hazardous material this spring.
The 2026 Household Hazardous Waste Day (HHWD) is scheduled for May 30 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Public Works Yard located at 55 16th St. NE.
It is important that residents recycle and dispose of hazardous materials from their homes in an environmentally responsible manner. Household hazardous waste is not allowed in curbside garbage bins and should never be poured down the drain or stormwater sewers.
SARCAN (1800 Ebel Rd.) will be open May 30 to accept paint and electronics only.
