Larry Heggs and his wife Della have lived in Weyburn for over 30 years, and their two grown children have completed their education in Weyburn.
Larry’s passion and commitment to his community is apparent through his involvement in the city and area.
He has served as Board member for: Family Place, Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show; Weyburn Credit Union, and the Weyburn Theatre just to name a few.
Larry has been the Executive Director of the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce, Weyburn Economic Development, and the Weyburn District Planning Commission and is currently the Executive Director of Saskatchewan Auto Dealers Association.
Larry has a no-nonsense approach to everything he does and believes in accountability. He can work with people and has the ability to get people to work together.
Larry knows that empowered communities that foster trust and mutual respect between the government and the people it serves simply do better.
