WEYBURN – At its June 14 meeting, Weyburn City Council passed its first reading of the new City of Weyburn Traffic Bylaw.
Major changes to the 2016 bylaw were presented to City Council by the Director of Engineering on Monday. The presentation highlights definition changes, inclusion of snow removal route, changes to truck routes within city limits, parking regulations and restrictions, school zone and recreational speed limits, and more.
The public can view the 2021 Traffic Bylaw in its entirety at City Hall until June 23 or online on the City of Weyburn website.
Second and third reading of the bylaw are to take place at the City Council meeting on June 28. The public can submit comments respecting this proposed bylaw to the City Clerk’s office at City Hall.
