The Weyburn Landfill is operating under reduced hours of 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily, including weekends, until further notice.
Residents are encouraged to plan trips accordingly and allow enough time to unload before the 3 p.m. closure.
For storm debris and Wey-Clean Week cleanup, trees, branches, stumps and clean lumber can go to the wood pile free of charge until June 5. The landfill offers compostable yard waste can go to the compost pile at no charge.

Due to extreme wind damage, the Weyburn Landfill will continue to be closed over the Victoria Day long weekend.
The landfill will reopen Tuesday, May 19 with reduced hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reduced hours will remain in effect until further notice.
- No loads will be accepted after 3 p.m.
We apologize for this inconvenience and thank the public for their cooperation and understanding as our crews work to repair damages at the landfill.

Due to extreme wind forecasted for Friday, garbage collection in Area 2 will not take place this week.
Area 2 garbage collection will resume on the next regular pickup day on Friday, May 22.
The Weyburn Landfill will remain closed until further notice.

The City of Weyburn is advising residents that extreme winds may impact services on Thursday, May 14.
The Weyburn Landfill will be closed starting Thursday, May 14 due to extreme winds. The landfill will remain closed until weather conditions improve, and the City will provide updates as conditions change.
Garbage collection in Area 1 will not take place this week. Area 1 garbage collection will resume on the next regular pickup day, Thursday, May 21.
Recycling collection is currently planned to proceed on Thursday, May 14, but may be cancelled depending on conditions. Residents are asked to secure carts, bins, and loose materials to help prevent windblown debris.
