Update: MNP Play Centre open July 14, repairs complete
The City of Weyburn hopes to get repairs done quickly and kids can get back to playing soon. Updates will be provided as information becomes available.
SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION – Mergens St. – July 17
Construction on Mergens St., between Coteau Ave. W and Hill Ave., will last approximately two weeks. There will be no driveway access and expect street parking restrictions.
TRAIL CLOSURE – 5th Ave. N – July 13
Tatagwa Trail between 5th St. NE and Fieldstone Estates will be closed for public safety until further notice, due to new hospital construction.
ROAD CLOSURE – Souris Ave. – July 13
Please be advised that Souris Ave. will be closed to traffic from 3rd St. to 4th St. due to roof replacement at CIBC. The closure will be in place Thursday, July 13 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM
TRAFFIC NOTICE – 3rd St. S – July 11
On Tuesday afternoon, asphalt repairs will begin on 3rd St. S; this work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
Recycling collection to resume in Area 4 on July 7
On Friday, the collection truck will only pickup the bins which were not able to be collected on Thursday, along with the regularly scheduled Area 5 pickup.
Swimming lessons cancelled July 5 at WLC outdoor pool
The pool will remain open for lane swim and free swim sponsored by the Rotary Club of Weyburn and public swim on July 5.
UPDATE: ROAD CLOSURE – Railway Ave. – July 5
Expect reduced speeds and lane restrictions on Railway Ave. from 5th St. to 7th St. for watermain replacement. This project is estimated to take approximately three weeks.
UPDATE: July 5, Area 4 street sweeping begins
This work will be performed weather permitting. Please remove street vehicles to ensure proper street cleaning can be done.
