To support cleanup efforts for Wey-Clean Week, the City of Weyburn is offering curbside pickup of bagged yard waste only from June 1-5 during scheduled residential garbage pickup days.
Residents in Area 3 may place bagged yard waste beside their refuse bin by 7 a.m. on Monday, June 1.
Yard waste must be bagged and includes items such as:
- grass clippings
- leaves
- weeds
- garden debris
It does not include branches, household garbage, furniture, construction waste or other debris. Loose or unbagged material will not be collected.
Trees, branches, stumps and clean lumber can go to the wood pile free of charge until June 5.
Collection will take place on each residential area’s regular garbage pickup day:
- Monday, June 1 – Area 3
- Tuesday, June 2 – Area 4
- Wednesday, June 3 – Area 5
- Thursday, June 4 – Area 1
- Friday, June 5 – Area 2
