The City of Weyburn is advising residents that extreme winds may impact services on Thursday, May 14.
The Weyburn Landfill will be closed starting Thursday, May 14 due to extreme winds. The landfill will remain closed until weather conditions improve, and the City will provide updates as conditions change.
Garbage collection in Area 1 will not take place this week. Area 1 garbage collection will resume on the next regular pickup day, Thursday, May 21.
Area 2 recycling collection is currently planned to proceed on Thursday, May 14, but may be cancelled depending on conditions.
Residents are asked to secure carts, bins, and loose materials to help prevent windblown debris.
