City-wide Fall weed control operations underway

Valve replacement work is happening along Railway Ave. between 4th St. and 5th St. from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1. Access to area businesses remains open to local traffic.
City reminds families to remove unauthorized items from graves at Hillcrest Cemetery by Oct. 15
After Oct. 15, City maintenance staff will remove any remaining unauthorized articles. Items deemed to have monetary value by the Cemetery Administrator will be securely stored for a limited time for pickup.

UPDATE: ROAD CLOSURE – King St. reopening targeted for first week of October
On Monday, July 7, major road construction will begin on King St. and Hwy 35 N, that will require full road closures and no through traffic will be permitted. King St. is expected to reopen in early September.

Open to Grade 10–12 students at Weyburn Comprehensive School, the program provides a hands-on opportunity to learn how municipal government works while representing the ideas and concerns of Weyburn’s youth.
