This work will be performed weather permitting and may take a few days to complete in your area.

UPDATE: Voyent Alert system technical issues resolved for Weyburn

If you are in refuse collection Area 3, you may have received multiple street sweeping notifications due to this issue. We are working with Voyent representatives to resolve the local notification issue.

Tips on what to do with yard waste before winter season

Weyburn residents have various options for disposing of yard waste, but the simplest answer is compost or bag it!

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – Government Rd. – Oct. 17

On Tuesday, Oct. 17, north and south bound traffic will be reduced to single lanes at the intersection of Government Rd. and Railway Ave. due to water service work. East and west bound turning lanes will be restricted.

ROAD CLOSURE – Railway Ave. – Oct. 13-14

Starting Oct. 13, Railway Ave. will be closed from 7th St. to 9th St. due to storm line replacement. This work is expected to take two days to complete.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – Multiple locations – Oct. 16-20

Starting Oct. 16, traffic restrictions will be in place along major routes throughout Weyburn. Drivers can expect lane closures and traffic delays. This work is expected to take approximately one week.

City hours of operation Thanksgiving Monday, Oct. 9

Civic offices will be closed. Reduced hours at Weyburn Leisure Centre. Credit Union Spark Centre and Weyburn Art Gallery closed.

ROAD CLOSURE – Railway Ave. – Oct. 6

Due to water service repair, Railway Ave. will be closed for the day from Government Rd. to 2nd St. starting at 8 a.m. on Oct. 6.

1st Ave. NE and 16th St. Intersection reopening Sept. 26

Construction at 1st Ave. N.E. and 16th St. is complete. As Tuesday evening, the intersection will again open to traffic.

Civic offices closed Sept. 29 for NDTR, leisure facilities closed Sept. 30

To honour the importance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the City of Weyburn officially observes this day on Sept. 29, 2023 as an important step in the journey to reconciliation.
