River Park Spray Park temporarily out of service July 31

Water is temporarily shut off due to water service repairs in the area. The water is expected to be back on by July 31 evening.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – Government Rd. – Aug. 2

Sidewalk and pedestrian ramp construction begins Aug. 2 on Government Rd., from Railway Ave. to the Subway entrance. Construction includes the intersection near Barber Motors and Dairy Queen.

UPDATE: New water treatment disinfection system begins Aug. 2

This change first announced in May, is part of ongoing system improvements aimed at enhancing the treatment plant.

Heat warning for Weyburn area July 21-25

According to Environment Canada, extreme heat is coming to South Eastern Saskatchewan in the next few days, with temperatures expected to climb into the 30’s and humidex values expected to approach the 40-degree mark.

Line painting commencing in Weyburn

Line painting begins Friday, July 21. Weather permitting, this project is expected to take a couple weeks to complete.
