The Credit Union Spark Centre is closed for the remainder of today, Dec. 10, following a fire in part of the building earlier today. This includes the Weyburn Art Gallery.

Due to bridge repairs, southbound traffic on Government Rd. N will be reduced to single lane starting Wednesday, Nov. 26 until end of day Thursday.

Fire incident at City of Weyburn arenas on Nov. 23
On Sunday afternoon, Nov. 23, a fire occurred on the main Zamboni at the City of Weyburn ice arenas. Due to the prompt response by City staff and the Weyburn Fire Department, the incident was brought under control, preventing further damage.
City of Weyburn to Receive $418,000 to Support Municipal Police
This funding supports three police positions within the Weyburn Police Service that focus on enhanced community policing initiatives, including two Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan (CTSS) positions and one member of the Organized/Serious Crimes Task Force.
ROAD CLOSURE – Government Rd. – Nov. 13
Due to a utility repair, Government Rd. N will be closed between Souris Ave. and Railway Ave. Access to local businesses maintained through parking lot.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – Government Rd. – Nov. 5
Due to bridge work, Government Rd. between Hwy 39 and Railway Ave., will have rotating lane closures starting Wednesday, Nov. 5.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – Railway Ave. – Oct. 30-31
Railway Ave. will be reduced to single lane traffic between 4th St. and 6th St. for a couple days. 5th St. will be closed for local traffic only with no through access onto Railway Ave.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – Government Rd. N – Oct. 30
Southbound lane of Government Rd. N, between Souris Ave. and Railway Ave., will be reduced to one lane.
