City of Weyburn facilities will be closed or have reduced hours beginning Dec. 24, in observance of Christmas and New Years.
Mammogram screening bus in Weyburn Jan. 9 – Feb. 17
The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency mobile bus will be at the Canalta Hotel in Weyburn from Jan. 9 – Feb. 17 providing screening mammograms for women ages 50 years and older.
Whitecap Resources sponsors Tot Time at Spark Centre for 2023
Whitecap Resources Inc. is sponsoring Tot Time starting Jan. 1, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week. This funding allows free access to the program, which is unrestricted indoor playtime on Mainil Field for children ages 0-5 and their guardians.
Snow Removal Update – Dec. 16
A blowing snow advisory continues for the Weyburn area on Dec. 16. City crews are working hard on priority routes and will move to secondary routes as quickly as possible.
Tree pruning beings on Dec. 12 along Saskatchewan Dr.
Green Drop Ltd. is assisting the City Parks department with the tree pruning of city-owned tress on several boulevards throughout the community. The City has identified Saskatchewan Dr. and 3rd Ave. NW as priority areas for the remainder of 2022.
Tis the season for Winter Wellness with the City of Weyburn
Four individual passes for $10 (taxes included)! One Winter Wellness pass covers admission for one child or youth under the age of 18. This promotion runs from Dec. 1-23, 2022 at 4 p.m.
ROAD CLOSURE – 16th St. NE – Nov. 30
Starting 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 16th St. between Railway Ave. and East Ave. will be closed for upgrades to the Water Treatment Plant.

City of Weyburn crews will be out early morning on Nov. 29 to start snow removal on primary and secondary priority routes. The City will update on snow removal progress throughout the week on it’s website and social media channels.
