Construction is scheduled to begin Tuesday, July 21 on 2nd St. between 1st Ave. and Prairie Ave., weather and site conditions permitting.
The project will be completed in two phases:
- Milling: July 21-22
- Paving: Beginning July 29
Temporary road closures will be in place while work is underway:
- Parking will not be permitted within the construction area during either phase.
- Drivers are asked to follow all posted signage and use alternate routes when required.
Construction dates may change due to weather or site conditions. Updates will be provided as the project progresses.
Affected residents have been mailed information about the upcoming construction and temporary access changes:
- Driveway access will be unavailable during construction. Residents must park on adjacent streets and keep vehicles outside the work zone.
- There will be no change to regular garbage and recycling collection. On your scheduled collection day, place your cart at the end of your property by 7 a.m.
