To honour the importance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Friday, the City of Weyburn officially observes this day as an important first step in the journey to reconciliation.
City of Weyburn and Sepak Takraw Association of Canada team up
On Friday, Sept. 23 from 7-9:45 p.m. at the Credit Union Spark Centre, the City of Weyburn will be hosting an introduction to the sport event with Sepak Takraw Association of Canada.
City of Weyburn recognizes federal Day of Mourning on Sept. 19
The City of Weyburn will observe a recently declared federal Day of Mourning by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Sept. 19, to honour Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her state funeral. City Hall and Public Works will be closed. Garbage collection on Sept. 19 will rollover to Sept. 20. Leisure facilities remain open.

Spark Centre and Weyburn Art Gallery closed Sept. 3-5
Our staff will be doing upkeep on our floors so the facility is in best shape for the busy fall/winter season. The public will not be able to access the Weyburn Art Gallery, Mainil Field or MNP Play n’ Climb during these three days.

Artist registration is now open for the 9th annual Gifted Winter Art Market hosted by the Weyburn Arts Council, City of Weyburn and the Weyburn Art Gallery.
City museums close Aug. 22 for fall/winter
The last day to visit the City’s museums will be Aug. 21, between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (closed over noon).
