Recent snowfall can cause intersections to become slippery. Reduce speed and be prepared for changing road conditions.

SNOW REMOVAL – 5th St. N – Feb 25

Snow removal is scheduled for Feb. 25 on 5th St. from Douglas Rd. to 5th Ave. No parking will be permitted from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Please be advised that Coteau Ave. is closed between 9th St. and 10th St. due to water main repairs. Emergency repairs which will interrupt water services for residents on Coteau Ave. between 8th St. and 10th St.

Snowfall warning for Weyburn area; reminders for drivers and residents

City of Weyburn crews are out responding to snow and blowing conditions, starting with first priority routes and trouble areas.

UPDATE: Weyburn Landfill reopens Feb. 18

Due to high winds and a winter storm approaching, the Weyburn Landfill will close at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, until further notice.

UPDATE: RESIDENTIAL SNOW REMOVAL – Area 4 – Jan. 30

This work is expected to take a couple days to complete, weather permitting. All vehicles must be off the street to ensure proper snow clearing.

Downtown snow removal is scheduled to begin midnight on Thursday, Jan. 22. Work is expected to be complete around 8 a.m., ahead of peak traffic times in the area
