From May 8-12, Weyburn residents, organizations and businesses are encouraged to help clean and improve their community during the City’s third annual weeklong cleanup campaign.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – 4th Ave. S – April 25
Due to water service work, 4th Ave. S from 3rd St. S to 4th St. S will be restricted to local traffic only.
ROAD CLOSURE – 3rd St NE – April 24
Due to the demolition of the Soo Theatre; this work is anticipated to take up to 20 days, weather permitting.
UPDATE: Snow removal attention April 21 on downtown core
Priority routes will remain the focus until the weather system subsides. At that time, the Public Works department will evaluate what resources can be allocated to clearing secondary routes.
UPDATE: Landfill reopen, garbage and recycling collection proceeding
As of noon on Wednesday, the Weyburn landfill is closed until further notice due to weather conditions.

Please use alternate routes if possible. Drivers are encouraged to reduce speeds when passing crews.
Weekly garbage collection resumes April 3
Weekly garbage collection will resume the week of Monday, April 3 and continue to Friday, Dec. 1. All garbage and recycling carts must be out and ready for pick-up by 7 a.m. on collection day.
UPDATE: Debit machine remains out of order March 24-27
The City of Weyburn apologizes for the inconvenience and is working to get debit issue resolved quickly.
UPDATE: TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – Duncan Dr. – March 22
Due to a water main break, Duncan Dr. from Douglas Rd. to 13th St. will be closed with access for local traffic only.
UPDATE: Collector streets, trouble spots and opening of catch basins focus for snow removal March 16-17
Residents should not push snow from driveways and sidewalks onto the road as it causes bigger issues on residential roads and delays clearing operations.
