Pruning of city-owned trees begins May 1

Weekly garbage collection resumes April 3

Weekly garbage collection will resume the week of Monday, April 3 and continue to Friday, Dec. 1. All garbage and recycling carts must be out and ready for pick-up by 7 a.m. on collection day.

The ban coincides with the time of year when the elm bark beetles that spread Dutch elm disease (DED) are most active. DED can affect any elm tree and once infected, the disease always kills.
