More than 1,450 hours into 2022-23 residential snow removal program
A total of 1,487.5 employee hours and 454.5 contractor hours went into this year’s residential program.

Service work by SaskPower is taking place on Souris Ave. throughout the week of Dec. 5. Drivers in Weyburn should expect delays and lane restrictions; this work is expected to impact drivers on Government Rd. as well.
City of Weyburn 2022 Holiday Hours
City of Weyburn facilities will be closed or have reduced hours beginning Dec. 24, in observance of Christmas and New Years.
Snow Removal Update – Dec. 16
A blowing snow advisory continues for the Weyburn area on Dec. 16. City crews are working hard on priority routes and will move to secondary routes as quickly as possible.
ROAD CLOSURE – 16th St. NE – Nov. 30
Starting 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 16th St. between Railway Ave. and East Ave. will be closed for upgrades to the Water Treatment Plant.
When snow comes, snowplows are not far behind!
City of Weyburn crews will be out early morning on Nov. 29 to start snow removal on primary and secondary priority routes. The City will update on snow removal progress throughout the week on it’s website and social media channels.

Leaves, yard waste and garden waste are accepted in the curbside garbage bin but items must be bagged or bundled and tied; loose items are prohibited under the Refuse Bylaw No. 2018-3391.
