On Friday evening, a candlelight ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Tommy Douglas Centre to honour the 39 workers killed in Saskatchewan in 2022.

Due to water service work, 4th Ave. S from 3rd St. S to 4th St. S will be restricted to local traffic only.
ROAD CLOSURE – 3rd St NE – April 24
Due to the demolition of the Soo Theatre; this work is anticipated to take up to 20 days, weather permitting.
UPDATE: Snow removal attention April 21 on downtown core
Priority routes will remain the focus until the weather system subsides. At that time, the Public Works department will evaluate what resources can be allocated to clearing secondary routes.
UPDATE: Landfill reopen, garbage and recycling collection proceeding
As of noon on Wednesday, the Weyburn landfill is closed until further notice due to weather conditions.

Updates will be provided if reopening is determined for Thursday afternoon.
UPDATE: Weyburn Leisure Centre closed April 20
Aqua fitness, swimming lessons and public swim has been cancelled. The indoor pool is slated to reopen Thursday at 6:20 a.m. for regular programming.
